What we make

We design apparel, kitchen gear, and everyday carry for people whose lives are organised around a feeding schedule.

Hoodies you can wear at 6 a.m. when the kitchen is cold and the oven is coming up to temperature. Aprons that take a beating and keep their shape. Dad hats for the farmers' market run. Tees for everyone, down to youth sizes for the small person who insists on doing the scoring. Glass cutting boards, tote bags, drawstring bags, stickers, and spiral notebooks for logging the bake that finally, finally worked.

Every piece is built to do the same thing: move cleanly from Sunday bench prep to the coffee run to the school pickup without ever looking like "merch." No loud logos. No inside jokes that need explaining. Just well-made gear with details that other bakers clock immediately — and everyone else just reads as good taste.

Made to order, on purpose

Here's something we want to be upfront about: nothing you buy from us exists before you order it.

When you place an order, your item goes into production at one of our fulfillment partner's facilities — printed, embroidered, cut, and finished specifically for you. It takes us 2–5 business days to make it before it ever gets handed to a carrier.

That's slower than pulling something off a warehouse shelf. We think the trade is worth it:

• No overproduction. The fashion industry throws away staggering volumes of unsold stock every year. We don't produce speculative inventory, so we don't have any to burn, bury, or dump.
• Less textile waste. We make one of a thing when one person wants it. That's the entire model.
• Small-batch by design. Made-to-order means we can offer a genuinely wide range of sizes and colours without gambling on which ones will sell — which means better odds that the thing you actually want is available.
• Honest pricing. We're not building clearance discounts into the sticker price to cover dead stock. What you pay reflects what it costs to make your piece well.

It's the same logic as a long ferment. You could rush it. It just wouldn't be as good.

How we think about quality

We choose blanks the way you'd choose flour: by what it does under pressure.

Heavyweight fleece that doesn't go limp after four washes. Cotton with enough substance to hold a print sharply. Embroidery placed where it survives an apron strap. We'd rather offer fewer products that hold up for years than a catalogue that looks great in photos and pills in a month.

And when something doesn't hold up — a misprint, a defect, a piece that arrives damaged — we fix it. No arguing, no restocking fee, no sending it back across an ocean at your expense. Send us a photo within 30 days and we'll reprint it or refund you. That's covered in full in our Return & Refund Policy.

Pull up a chair

Sourdough is a solitary craft with a wildly social afterlife. Nobody bakes a loaf without photographing the crumb.
